Dear Friends,

Thank you so much to each one of you who prays for me and supports me in my work with CEF. I am humbled by your kindness and deeply appreciate all you do for me. I know it has been some time since my last prayer letter, so let me update you on how things have been going for me, and some of the special highlights that have happened throughout this year.

MAY:
I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the CEF European Conference in Rehe, Germany for one week. This was a real blessing and a great opportunity to meet many fellow workers from all over Europe, some of whom are working in very difficult situations. It was wonderful to hear how God is undertaking for them and using them in a marvellous way. Jim Fasold was the Bible teacher for the week, and his studies each morning on the life of Gideon were so challenging. I really thank the Lord for the opportunity to attend this conference.

JUNE:
I was involved in helping at the Trailblazers in my own home Church. This was a great week with almost 250 children attending. They listened attentively to the teaching of God’s Word.

JULY:
I attended the SE Antrim GNC camp in Seaview, Kilkeel. This was a marvellous week. The leaders of the camp this year were David and Olivia Crutchley, CEF workers in the Youth Challenge ministry. Olivia did the Bible teaching each morning on the life of Ruth – challenging the children that “God’s ways are perfect” and “God has a wonderful plan for your life.” The evening Bible teaching was doctrine lessons on the Lord Jesus Christ and a different counsellor spoke each night. The children listened very well and there was a real sense of God’s presence upon the meetings. The children learnt memory verses, Titus 2 v11-14, and by the end of the week many were able to repeat this passage of scripture almost word perfect. Quiet times in the dorms were special times, as we worked through the Wonder Devotional book one asking questions like “Who is God?”, “Are there many Gods?”, “How did sin enter the world?” etc.

SEPTEMBER:
I attended the CEF Northern Workers Staff Conference for 4 days. This was a blessed time when we prayed, studied God’s Word and fellowshipped together. I was responsible for taking the minutes at the business meetings, and the Lord really undertook for me.

POINTS FOR PRAYER:

v Each week in the National Office is busy and demanding. I continue to have much administration in connection with working for the National Directors, Henry & Madeline Berry. Please pray that the Lord would grant much grace and wisdom in the daily tasks. I have also recently taken on the role of Secretary of the Missionary Sub-Committee. Pray that I would know God’s help in every aspect of the work.

v I would value your prayers for the Good News Club which I am involved with each Monday night in Jean Nutt’s home in Kings Crescent, Newtownabbey. We have about 18-20 children attending and they are so well behaved. This year we have been learning Psalm 23. Many of the children are able to repeat this lovely Psalm word perfect. Pray that God would work in their little hearts and that we would see many of them putting their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as their own personal Saviour, and knowing Him as their Shepherd.

I trust and pray that as you read this prayer letter, you will be blessed and encouraged at how God is answering your prayers. Thank you again for all you do for me.

Wishing you a blessed Christmas.

With love in Christ,
BEVERLEY McMASTER
