Dear friends,
As we write to you again with more matters for Praise and Prayer, accept
our thanks for your continued support in prayer. It really does make all
the difference in the Spiritual Battle which all believers find
themselves in.
Praise the Lord for:
· A good recovery from the colds and flu and back to health and strength
· Continued steady sales
· A number of encouraging contacts in the bookshops. The exciting part
of this work is that you never who walks through the door and we are so
thankful for opportunities to encourage God’s people.
· Peter passing the Ski Instructor’s course and two weeks of
instructing, he thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
· Andrew has had an encouraging start at his new job with KickLondon.
Pray for:
· A new shop is still on the cards but we are tied into a long lease in
our present location.
· Tony and Joan Montague who are looking after the shop while we are on
holiday from March 25th to April 12th. Also for Tommy and Cynthia who
are looking after the dog!
· Continued protection in the Bookshop. Catherine, one of our volunteers
was confronted by two girls, high on drugs, demanding a refund on a
Children’s Bible, which obviously wasn’t theirs to return. They were
pursued by the police and made a hasty exit before they nearly got
caught. It was quite a scary experience. We are often on our own in the
shop and there are a lot of drunken people this end of Church Street
which can leave us a bit vulnerable.
· Peter, who is in the process of making decisions about his future,.
· Andrew who is going to be part of a team of Coaches with KickLondon,
organising the sport for the kids at Spring Harvest.
Many Thanks for praying and God bless you!
With love from
Leslie and Esther
