Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving
the Lord. 12Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in

Dear Friends
We would like to thank you all for our warm welcome home at Christmas.
It is great to know that God’s people at home are praying and ever
wanting to hear how we are getting on at the Faith Mission Bible
College.
We are fast approaching Easter and then are last term here in Scotland.
It was a busy term before Christmas with us travelling to Aberdeen for a
weekend and many different opportunities to preach the Gospel in many
different churches over here in Scotland.
We travel to Greenock at the end of February for ten days. We are
involved in children’s work and youth meetings and the regular meetings
at the Barnard’s Court Mission. We hope for opportunities to go door to
door, we ask for prayer as we know that many of the houses are acutely
flats and hard to gain access unless you are a resident. Pray for the
local nursing home that we hope to go and take meetings with them.
These ten days are useful in our training but also an opportunity to
reach men, women and children for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Join with
us as we mission by praying for Helen and I and the team as we serve the
Lord at Greenock.
We will be back in Northern Ireland for Easter and then for a short
break for a few weeks after Bangor Convention. We hope to see some of
you there and when we travel to church during our break.
Seeing that we are coming to the end of our college course we hope to go
on to be a ministry team in the congregational church, there is a great
need for ministers who will take the Bible as their authority and preach
the Gospel in these days. We believe that we can work for the Lord
wherever God wants us to be. Pray for the right church to serve in, to
build up God’s people and to see people won for Christ.
It is exciting but also a daunting time for us as we leave the future in
God’s hands. We want to do God’s will and we need to be patient as we
wait on God to lead. We know that God is training us for this ministry
and we keep our faith in Him as He knows best.
After graduation 26th June 2008 we have eight weeks of summer work, pray
that God will place us in an area that we can gain valuable experience
that will help in future church life. We hope it is somewhere where God
can use our gifts and talents to the glory of God.
Thank you for your prayers and generosity and we hope to with you all
soon and
We pray with you about the future ministry at Abbots Cross and are
reminded constantly that God is in control of every situation. May God
grant guidance and help in these days.
